I am a very novice runner, but I am slowly getting into it.
I signed up for the 2012 Chicago Marathon! I'm running with TeamToEndAIDS, please donate to them–They really do a lot of good around the Chicago area in terms of prevention education, support and services for those living with AIDS, and advocating for people living with it and at high risk of getting it.

Nov 2011 Chicago Turkey Trot 8k - Chip time 38:12.7(7:42 mi pace). Placed 81 of 414 in my age group, 520 of 6015 finishers.
Oct 2011 Chicago Marathon - First marathon. Chip time was 4:40:24. Placed 18574 of 35755 overall; 12253 of 20284 among males.
May 2011 Chicago Spring Half Marathon - First run after major injury. Chip time was 2:11:24.7. Placed 80 of 93 in my age-group(20-24 men) and 1143 of 2122 overall.
Feb 2011 Cupid Love 10K Run (Ravinia) - Track got screwed up on the short side; RunKeeper said it was 5.65 miles. Chip time was 45:50.9(8:07 min/mile), placed 58th of 212.
Oct 2010 Peggy Notebaert Go Go Green 5K (Chicago, IL) - First run since highschool, 5k in 23:44, placed 69th of 554
I use Runkeeper to track each run.
I use a pair Sennheiser PMX680i headphones with my iPhone. They haven't hiccuped with sweat or heavy rain or fairly cold.
Wahoo Fitness Monitor - Adds heart rate monitor interaction to iPhone.
Garmin Heart Rate Monitor - transmits heart rate to Wahoo device.
Saucony Ultimate Run Glove II - Nice gloves below freezing.
Nike Vomero+5 - seem to work about right, but still not a completely perfect fit. Lost one on the bus, replaced with:
Nike Structure 14 - seemed like the right move after the injury, holding up okay.
Saucony ProGrid Mirage, a thinner Nike Vomero replacement.
